I have enrolled to participate in a conservation project in the Peruvian Amazon in June 2012. I am going with an organization called Operation Wallacea. They have organized projects world wide to set up long-term biodiversity conservation using a combination of community-based and protected area strategies. We are going for 2 weeks, staying on a boat and working, researching and recording the activities of the Peruvian wildlife.
The cost of the trip will be £2200 and I plan to raise as much of it as possible. I have organized many bag packing dates at various supermarkets and we are also doing car boot sales and cake sales.
I am doing a 10km run and I would be incredibly grateful for any sponsorship any sum of money would be very generous. I will be completing my run on the 1st of December.
